SMALL GROUP FITNESS

The Higher Edge offers small group fitness classes for women to build and improve your cardio, strength, core and balance. Our interval/circuit style training guarantees a total body workout in under 60 minutes. Smaller classes provide a more personalized workout to keep you motivated and always reaching for your best. By adding elements from kick-boxing and martial arts, our classes are unique, empowering and useful inside as well as outside the gym.

INNER STRENGTH

Discover how strong you can be with this total body strength building class. Inner strength mixes together free weights, resistance bands and body weight exercises to strengthen your upper body, lower body and core. Inner strength is more than just counting reps and sets. We continually challenge your body by combining traditional strength routines with balance and variable resistance. This class teaches you how to move to make life more enjoyable so you can live and grow strong.



THE FUSION

Can’t decide between a cardio or strength workout today? Not enough time to do a separate workout for both? Well the Fusion is the answer! The Fusion is an interval/circuit style class that alternates between cardio, strength, and core exercises all in one workout. The rest you get in this class is “active rest” which means you are always working out one part of your body while another part rests. The Fusion keeps you moving for the entire class so you can maximize your workout in the least amount of time.

KICK IT UP

Stressed after a long day? Grab some gloves and jump in to this cardio-kickboxing class. Kick It Up! uses kickboxing and martial arts techniques mixed with aerobic exercises to get your heart pumping and the sweat dripping. It combines basic punching and kicking skills taught in the air with focus mitt and punching bag drills. Going beyond a good workout this class shows you how what you learned can apply to real life self-defense. In that way Kick It Up! builds up your confidence as well as your fitness!
